In Topic: Who Pays For This Forum these Days? God Bless whoever it is though!

I'd say the legacy and its memories make it more than worth paying for at this point. StealthBot revolutionized the world of Battle.Net bots. It spawned so many different things that eventually even affected how Blizzard developed multiplayer games and their chat functions. Thousands, if not millions, of users were able to expand their communities, channels, and groups/clans thanks to this work of coding "art". I can't even begin to imagine how many people were connected to each other thanks to not only the bot itself, but its community forums. StealthBot left its mark on many gamers and coders alike. I don't think anyone is ready to see it completely disappear forever, (despite some of the sarcastic comments made by a few here). Of course, that does tend to happen when you're brought together by something special... -

I recognize Stealth and Warden, but who are the others?
If you look at the old, old forum's avatars over different years through Archive.org, you can work most of them out. Just off-hand from my memory, (which is fairly shot at this point thanks to my job), on the far left with the Java attack comment is HDX, and and the two in the upper, right are Lockdown and Warden, (security protocols that Blizzard implemented into Battle.Net 1.0 to prevent bots and unauthorized clients from connecting, even with legitimate CD-keys). Stealth is the light blue baby with his infamous "Eleventy Years" comment. I recognize the other three too, but I just woke up, so I can't for the life of me remember who is who.
