Does anyone have any good settings for floodbots that have random names? I tried putting @ in the filter but that didn't seem to filter the messages.

You need to use wildcards. Try *@* instead.

Oh and I put in the specific messages that the bots were using and the filter didnt filter them out at all...

There is currently no client based chat filter feature. And I am not even sure if it can be scripted. You can only use Pyro's method for all non-WC3 products.
Or enable StarCraft clientbans. When the bots are banned fast enough, you won't see any join/leave notifications either (only the ban message).
Next time please create your own topic instead of hijacking another one.
