Resolved: Chat filters

Does anyone have any good settings for floodbots that have random names? I tried putting @ in the filter but that didn't seem to filter the messages.

You need to use wildcards. Try *@* instead.

Oh and I put in the specific messages that the bots were using and the filter didnt filter them out at all...

Say, if I wanted to filter Join/Leave messages of Starcraft clients only, would it be possible with Chat Filters?

I tried adding:

*has joined the channel using StarCraf*

But did not work, any advice would be great, thanks!

There is currently no client based chat filter feature. And I am not even sure if it can be scripted. You can only use Pyro's method for all non-WC3 products.

Or enable StarCraft clientbans. When the bots are banned fast enough, you won't see any join/leave notifications either (only the ban message).

Next time please create your own topic instead of hijacking another one.
