I find it funny everyone thinks that Battle.net is dieing, I have the same numbers of people joining my channels and games as I did at this time last year, and the year before. In-fact I have nearly double the number.

I know, right? The people trolling around here saying things are dead is ridiculous. Sure, there are less new players because it's getting older, but it's definitely not dying off either.

If you check the overall numbers for battle.net.. they're way down. Way way down. Just because your one channel is still doing okay does not mean that the overall status of battle.net is still doing well. That's like having terminal cancer and saying "Oh, but my pinky still works just fine, therefore my entire body can't be dying."

I would also like to point off that not having a new influx of players is dying off. Slowly perhaps, but the fact that you are LOSING PEOPLE and not staying at a steady number of players means that slowly but surely battle.net is dying. That's just the way it is and pretending otherwise doesn't change anything.

Actually it's more like saying that Battle.Net is an old man who can't do all the things he used to, but is still more than capable at many of the things he has always done.

And just like an old man, those things he can do are outdated and obsolete.

Woah.
"As soon as we started programming, we found to our surprise that it wasn't as easy to get programs right as we had thought. Debugging had to be discovered. I can remember the exact instant when I realized that a large part of my life from then on was going to be spent in finding mistakes in my own programs."

Keeping the conversation going months later
Priceless

Anyone else miss battle.net and stealthbot? It was so fun scripting a bot to interact with clan members. I feel like there's not an outlet for that anymore.
It's sad, really.

If people would stop being so lazy on the forums, we could fix that. :P

Fix what? No one is being lazy, people have moved on in life or found better software the achieves the features SB didn't.
