Out of boredom tonight, I was looking at my old installations of StealthBot. Turns out I had some old 2.6r3 copies laying around and I decided to try and run one to see if it would even connect. Turns out it won't even open in Windows 7. I tried to run it and the process opened, then closed. Nothing came up and I received no errors. Same thing when running it as an administrator. Slightly disappointing, but happy to know that StealthBot 2.7.1 works atleast! ;)

StealthBot v2.6R3 works just fine for me on both Windows 7 x86 and x64.

Strange...guess I'll have to play with it more. I know the betas still work, but for whatever reason 2.6r3 doesn't run at all for me in x86.

Haven't tested it yet, but I'm assuming if Windows 7 crashes it, compatibility mode won't help too much.

I used to run it in windows 7x64

I know it loads faster and hogs less resource than 2.7 does, but not nearly as much functionality.

There's really no reason to use 2.6... unless you're retarded.

BUT ALL OF MY PLUGINS ONLY WORK WITH 2.6 :(

I too me stick on 2.6 i like the slow command responds. Just like playing on an old computer. Plus it is nostalgic, takes away the bugs. It also runs well on smartphones (never tested tough) :)

Uhh...if you never tested it, how do you know it runs well on smartphones? Technically speaking, the ONLY thing even close to a smartphone that should have any chance at running it would be Windows Mobile 6.5, and even then I doubt it could because it's running a different CPU setup that processes things in a completely different way than a PC.

What in the world are you talking about... If I remember correctly there was a 2-3 page thread a while ago talking about how stealthbot will never run on a smartphone. I don't even think there is any support at all for Visual Basic on any ARM devices...

Oh, that wasn't directed towards you. It was directed towards some other retards that use it for more than shits and giggles.

Guilty. I still run a W3 variant of 2.6R3(on my W7 x86 machine :) ) in my channel. I use 2.7 for my SC bot, however. So only partially retarded hopefully?

To reply to this seriously, or not..

hm..

So, VB6 is obviously x86 only. But ARM processors are pretty powerful now, and full-out x86 emulation is totally possible. My iPad 1 ran Windows 95 a few years ago. StealthBoth can totally run on a smartphone, no problem.

but...
