Moon Bombing Article

Alright, according to this article NASA will be dropping 2 tons onto the moon from space Friday. I kind of wish I could watch this, I bet it beats anything the Discovery channel can get video of. Thoughts/Ideas?

I think as long as we keep it to moving around surface material we will be alright, as long as we don't incinerate the surface or do anything that could alter the properties of the moon surface and it's long-term physical characteristics.

"extraterrestrial base on the dark side of the moon."
"U.S. astronauts, NASA employees, Soviet scientists, NSA confirm the extraterrestrial presence on the moon"

This leads me to believe this article is not a valid news source

@Jaeson
The picture you posted is a hoax. The moon bombing did not have so much power that the result could be seen from the Earth. In fact, many people watching this on TV were disappointed because when the space crafts hit the moon visually it looked like a really small cloud of dust went up, not anything major.
The mission wasn't stupid or anything. If you may know, a space craft launched by India called Chandrayaan - I caught images of fine water particles on the moon's surface about a month ago. Since this is a major discovery, NASA wanted to confirm it and by hitting the moons 'soil' the lower part's which are supposed to be abundant in water would be photographed by some satellites.
This mission did prove to be a success as they caught images of very fine particles of water..

Google it, NASA did infact "bomb" the moon to study the particles of dust that flew off during the explosion

Fuck, my name is Jaesin. Spell it right.

Also, the pic isn't a hoax, it's definitely from a movie. Not 2012 either. Some lame movie called Time Machine that had some pretty awesome parts.

There was never any confusion whether or not NASA crashed a satellite into the moon. I said they never bombed it, then you replied...

So what are you trying to say, that they bombed the moon or not? Because they didn't, doesn't matter how many quotation marks you use, the usage is still incorrect. If you know they didn't bomb the moon, then you should have not posted at all.

I said "bomb" for a reason, because that's the story the media is trying to spin and its the general misconception of the population. I know what went down and I used that type of language for a reason. Im not here to disagree with you, so what are you crying about?

I was just messing with him... Also it doesn't make sense to say bomb, when they didn't. The crashed a satellite into the moon, and collected some of the dust that was kicked up by it, then that satellite crashed into the moon. No bombs no explosions.
