Kind of like your fantasy of a StealthBot 3.0?

Warrior offered very little to StealthBot development. He is an amazing programmer, but it is impossible to work with him because he is an egotistical uncompromising control freak. He is much better suited for cowboy coding than in a team. All in all, he had nothing to do with the demise of StealthBot 3.0. The only thing keeping the momentum going for StealthBot is it's large community and user base. Now that both of those are gone, there is no reason to further develop StealthBot.

But we can still dream....

It's sad to see it go. Had a lot of fun when the project was active but Starcraft 2 came out and everything changed.

I still think StealthBot should be ported over to IRC. I have yet to find an IRC bot that is both easy to use like StealthBot, and fully customizable like StealthBot (For those that know vbScripting anyway.)

I started a script which connects to IRC but stopped doing it since no one really cares.

IRC is made for chatting, not for botting lol, and if you cant find one you didn't look hard enough, prolly only looked at basic mIRC scripts and not a full bot. Might want to look into eggdrops...

That'd be like looking for an OS when you're actually looking for a browser. StealthBot is in no way an IRC bot.

Eh? All it really has to do is connect to the server and place chat in the main rtf and the users in the channel on the side, heh. All Battle.net really is, is just a glorified IRC.

So? As similar as they may be, they're still completely different networks. StealthBot was never meant to be used for IRC. Besides the fact that it can be scripted ...

Compared to your, "I dont like this we arent going to do this" attitude? Please brah we all know the story. But yeah, complete redesign of the bot, that has nothing to offer to development. Completely right.

I should slap the fuck out of you for saying that! SC2 is out! StealthBot could dominate the chat channel "market"! Diablo III is coming as well, and what about WoW support? There's so many things that could be added to StealthBot that no one wants to bother doing! Be the first! Be original! Do what StealthBot is known for and be the best!

Okay fine, why not just shut down the whole forum and project then? Give up, don't seek any hope, just forget about the entire thing and consider all that time and effort wasted. Goodbye.
