The scripting system in 2.7 has been almost completely revamped from 2.6r3. As a result almost all scripts/plugins will ave to be rewritten.
If you need something converted contact the original creator of the script, if they are not available anymore, try posting in the Conversion request forum.

Beyond that, start using new scripts, get rid of the old.
