The wiki is incomplete and it would seem harsh to expect the moderators to finish it so quickly.

So I suggest that you make a rank "Senior Users" just like on old forum, and give them permission to edit certain pages (of course you wouldn't let them edit the homepage or anything).

Because it is a separate rank, and the specifications to get to this rank could be reasonably high, this would hopefully get rid off all the idiots that might want to delete someone entry to the wiki page.

I agree. Completing the whole wiki just by admins would be so much work. Allow senior members to work on it, maybe send a draft to the admins so they can approve it, then put it on the wiki.

Oh I forgot to mention, if you vote "no" or "yes with reasoning", please state your reason in the thread.

No one can edit it? No wonder no one has been...

Can someone just make it public sign up and moderators can stop vandalism and fix incorrect information?

I just thought it would be a good idea because I have nothing else to do and wouldn't mind editing some of the pages :D

That's going to be more than a hassle than anything. People who think they know what they're talking about can post and there's just going to be way too much to make sure dumb shit isn't going to be posted. I'm talking about spelling errors, improper sentences, explanations that aren't worded clearly enough, stupid shit like, "oh yeah, any questions, PM me" PM just that user when an entire board can help out? Yeah, you get my point.

That's why only senior members would be allowed to edit it, but not even submit it.

Allow them to be submitted TO admins or mods so they can approve or deny it and clean it up a bit.

I watch every change through the Recent Changes page. If anything's stupid I'll fix it right then. Otherwise, Senior Members and up should be able to edit it.

Sign-up has been shut off for some reason and the most random group of people have accounts...I will do some fixing up here and there but don't expect anything major unless someone wants to give me some direction.

Just cuz they are sr members, it does not mean that they know what the hell they are talking about.

I know how to turn on the bot, and connect, that is all. Limiting it to sr members would be fail. People that know the technical support forums pretty well (7th Ace) should put a team together and handle the wiki.

Although i voted yes i agree with you. There are many people who havent been on the forums for long time. There are so many entries left i would apreciate to take a handfull of people that are willing to finish the wiki.

P.S.: me not my english is bad >:(

Then maybe instead of senior members, we should have another team (as someone suggested before) picked by the technical support peeps.

Sound good?

More people should have the ability to give people accounts IMO.

Sigh, let Senior members edit it? I think we should get rid of everybody but 7thAce, that kid seems to have what it takes.
