Okay well i just downloaded this new bot. First off how do you get to config file? is there a config file for the new one? i dont see it where it used to be or anywhere else.

ALSO

When i just click connect after putting in information i get this...
[08:56:57 PM] [BNLS] Connecting to the BNLS server at jbls.org...
[08:56:57 PM] [BNLS] Connected!
....it just sits there then does nothing else

The config file is in the bot folder.

Connecting problem try changing the server.

@wabb: Dont make posts in other peoples topic. Make your own or wait to see how this goes.

Change your BNLS to phix.no-ip.org
Settings > Bot Settings > Advanced > BNLS Server

To find your config
Settings > Edit Files > Open Bot Folder > Config.ini
But there really isn't anything you need to modify manually in the config.

I'm having the same problem. I dl'ed the latest version of sbot, and I get this:

Quote

[02:47:47 PM] [BNLS] Connecting to the BNLS server at jbls.org...
[02:47:48 PM] [BNLS] Connected!

It just sits there. Not running through a proxy.

Please make a new topic in the future instead of posting on an old thread.

Sorry about that, I misread pyro as phix in my extra server list. Is there any reason why the others don't work?

Phix.no-ip.org should work. If it doesn't, make sure nothing is blocking the connection such as a firewall or antivirus program.

Personally, I use Alendar.no-ip.org because it never seems to make any issues for me (with 2.6 and 2.7).

Great for you. We don't need personal preference. It either works or it doesn't.
Enough posting in this topic...
