If others can confirm this I will add it to the translations file.

Probably an UTF-8 related error?

Probably an UTF-8 related error?

Yes, but even with multiple versions of the same message users seem to have the same problem.

Why not replace the "weird" characters with wildcards as well?
CODE
Polish|Tw*j przyjaciel, * do*cza do * rozgrywki nazywanej *.|Tw*j przyjaciel, * opuszcza Battle.net.

It also doesn't cover all variations. This is what I got from a mutual friends message (see bold part with no weird characters at all):
QUOTE
[16:33:33.246] <From hidden> Twój przyjaciel, hidden dolacza do Diablo II Lord of Destruction rozgrywki nazywanej Lolus1.
And for the logoff message:
QUOTE
[16:46:42.277] <From hidden> Twój przyajaciel, hidden opuszcza Battle.net.
Notice the additional "a"? I've always wondered why Battle.net had 2 different spellings for "friend". I don't know if it's a bug or correct, but it isn't covered by your translations either. To include this you would get:
CODE
[code]Polish|Tw*j przyjaciel, * do*cza do * rozgrywki nazywanej *.|Tw*j przy*jaciel, * opuszcza Battle.net.

Only the internal splitting part would be a bitch. ohmy.gif

I used * to keep regex and the script itself happy, but that may be a better idea.

I could just strip off characters that aren't letters or numbers since Diablo games conform to the same rules.
